my question:
what is this?

it looks like a bunch of seeds that the roaches stacked together, but how would they have done it? At first I thought egg cases, as I just got these roaches, but I have no idea, and they look like pumpkin seeds. Am I going crazy? If they are seeds, it looks like the roaches were bored and decided to build something. So are they just a bunch of orange seeds stacked together and glued with roach spit, or are they egg cases, if not eggs, any pics of what I shoud look for?

Those look like seeds. I only have Dubias and Lobsters (the latin name escapes me every time), but the egg cases look like tubes. They are sort of yellowish and appear to have segments in them... almost like a superworm :D but no legs. Sorry I can't help anymore.

Those are definitely not eggs. The unique thing about lateralis is that they will move their food to a more convenient place to eat. And I can't confirm this but I get the impression that they also move waste also. All of the small waste ends up at the back of the container yet there is no waste where I place the food.

ok thanks everyone. I was a bit shocked when I found this pile of glued seeds. I did see a female lay what looks like a brown/black case, but I cannot find it.
Thanks
