ok my problem is this i have one grumpy vieled cham and three sweet as hell cresties!! and one great big ol family chalk full of wimps! but i have to go on a trip for two weeks up state now i need a repti sitter lol or an enginious way to keep my reptiles feed my grams can spray and stuff but its just the crickets i cant just toss in a whole bunch with them to last them 2 weeks thatl bug the stuffin out of them im shure they will be ok going back to bowl feeding on baby food instead of hand fed and grams can do that too but my cham will freak with strangers! and i dont know any body that will be able to handle the responsiblity of taking the extra measures of dusting the feeder insects or could deal with the hornworms and silkies! so is there like an automatic feeder for crickets or somethin? im really in a bind!!

You are going to need a live person to help you for that length of time for sure. When I went on vacation, we had a friend stay at the house full time (it got him out of the barracks for a week, so he liked it) and he fed the dog, cat, and the reptile menagerie. He wimped out a bit on the rat feeding, but one of our herp friends came and helped him. We left money on account at the pet store so he could get crix, etc. as needed and he wouldn't have to take care of them. Our local reptile pet store boards exotics, too.
Maybe your grams could do the simple stuff, and you could ask some local herper to come over once or twice a week to put in the live foods under your family's supervision?
we left a lot of instructions and emergency numbers, and ours were fine. Good luck finding a solution!

ris, the places I would look are :
1. Exotics veterinarians
2. licensed and bonded pet sitters (check the Yellow Pages)
3. pet stores that cater to exotics
Exotics vets often board; mine will if I bring in the lights and caging myself. My local pet store guy boards all the time, but I don't think it's as common and ideally you should have a good relationship with them ahead of time so you can trust them. A pet sitter iss only good if they are Licensed and Bonded, and if they can do reptiles. (Most around here can't even care for birds.) You could probably pay one to come in a few times a week to feed the crawly stuff to your pets; then it wouldn't be as expensive.
