Prob with verm and incubating eggs

My first batch has been incubating for 45 days now and i noticed the verm smelling moldy. I took the eggs out right away are my eggs bad now?

I would not say they are bad from the little bit of information you gave. I have always used vermiculite for incubation and the couple times I got mold it was due to a lack of ventilation.

perlite is easier but someone got me hooked on Aquatic pond soil which is a ceramic stone. it is excellent, holds water for a long time, and the color changes to lighter when you need to add water. i got mine at Home depot
