hey so all along i thought my female was digging looking for a place to lay her eggs. so i seperated them. today i noticed that my male cage was all dug in, he even had a pile of dirt on his head! why is he digging so much? it seems like hes doing it a lot. ive never seen him do this before.
and hes not eating as much.the temp is cooler in the low 70s, maybe this is why hes not eating as much. should i up his temp?
also now that my female is gravid and seperated, she been on the ground all day today, i cant find any crickets in her cage so im assuming she ate them all what temp should her cage be? i want to make sure my mama is as confertable as possible, any suggestions to this first time breeder?

he is just enjoying himself. be careful if you see dirt in or around his mouth. you do not want an impaction.
