I'm pretty new at the whole crested gecko thing. I was wondering what I should start with? My terrarium is HUGE and it houses a Madagascar Giant Day Gecko she is about 9 inches long. Even if I get juvies I have a 10 gallon set up.
Any tips or advice welcome :o !!!

Just for future reference you can post questions in the crested gecko forum or the help forum. Welcome! :D
If you're getting an adult you'll need somewhere around 20 gallons worth of space minimum. For a pair of adults 65 gallons is recommended. A hatchling should have a 10g tank as a maximum it's recommended to use medium to large critter keepers or 5g tanks for hatchlings. Too much space makes it difficult for the hatchlings to find food and water. Lot's of people keep their cresteds in mixed species vivariums but I wouldn't recommend it starting out. Once you gain some experience with both species involved you'll have better luck with mixing animals. Good luck!

I usually go with a minimum of 10 gallons per adult crestie up to 3... then you really need to start expanding if you have 4 or more. Remember, it's not written in stone, just a way to help you get an idea of how big an enclosure to start off with.

I keep hatchlings in like 3 gallon rubbermaids. Ten Gallons are way to big for a hatchling.

I was thinking breeding pair for the 65g. I personally put my females in a 100g enclosure and will introduce a male when they're ready. I know it's way overkill on space but I figure that they get their exercise that way  .

I personally keep all of my animals seperate for most of the year in the small ESU Fresh Air Habitats. They are about the equivalence of a 15g...which is enough space for singles and okay enough space for a pair during the breeding season.
