Does anyone work/have any of these awesome reptiles? I'd like to get one, just one, as a pet. I read through their care, and it seems the require the same as cresties, just different eating habits and they like to soak in water. Can cresties be housed with them? Thanks!

There a very cool lizard! The only thing is that there crazy!! Absolutly nuts. I would not recommend puting a crested in with them.

Ok, good. I read they are arboreal? So I need a tall tank?

Oh, and crazy won't bother me at all. I'll like having a "wild" one, with all these calm beardies and cresties laying around! lol!

They can get 2-3 feet though... Although alot of that is tail they still need a fairly big size cage.. Thats what has been stopping me from getting them..
I have a buddy that kept singles in 3 feet wide x 2 feet deep x 2 feet tall and pairs in 4 feet wide x 2 feet deep x 4 feet tall. You might be able to get away with a 55 gallon but the bigger is always better! <- Keep in mind, those sizes were for adults. Babies were in smaller tanks!
They really like it humid too..
Thanks Erik

I just got some reptariums, and was planning on fixing up one of those for him/her. Probably either the 100 gal. or 175 gal. Thanks!

PERFECT! You might have to put suran wrap on the sides to keep humidity in though. It depends on if it is humid where your located at.
But the 100 or 175 would be perfect size!! :)
Thanks Erik

You may want to put something on the glass for a while until it learns barriers, etc.

With reptariums, you can buy soft trays for the sides to keep humidity in. That's how I do it for my cresties. How warm should the "basking" area be? Thanks!
