hi everybody. i keep and breed african species of pygmy leaf chams. now i would like to aquire some madagascan stump tails. i was hoping people with some long term experience breeding brookesia may jump in with any notes on there personal observations and experiences with getting these guys acclimated and breeding, species specific please. have done much research and have the pygmy book. i am not a newbie, with delicates...breed many uroplatus species. looking for a more advanced discussion. not much info. out there, so hopefully this thread will dig up some good material that may be useful for any wanting to work with these guys seriously.
happy holidays,

Hi Doom,

I've kept B. superciliaris in the past and found them to be rather a pain in the butt. Lol! Beautiful chameleons, but you've got to be very careful with them. Also... DO FECALS!!! ;) (Most important part of acclimating your pygmies, but so often overlooked.)

Mine never bred, but they sure were fun and interesting. ;)

Can I add a question. Are there any species that are somewhat tolerant of higher tempertures? (80's)?
