This pic is of a pair of Grand Terre leachies owned by N.A.R.C. The photo is property of Matt and Kim (owners of N.A.R.C.) What type do you guys think they are? I guess they're about 15 inches total length. I think they're gorgeous!!!

I don't have any leachies but those are incredible (type???) :D
I was tempted to get that pair from Noah's Boas but they were pricey.

I keep my 6 leachies in my 1 bedroom apt, and they have been making so much noise lately that it's hard for me to sleep at night. I believe it's my GT's and the different variations of vocalazation can be quite creepy in the dark while you are trying to sleep. I need a bigger place!

There are three or four types. It's a topic of argument among GT leachianus breeders. Some believe that there are types A, B, C, and other believe that there is another type, CF, in addition to the other 3 types. I personally have no clue :) . They look like A and B, but the blotched one seems too big to be a B :-k . The owners said they weren't 100% sure of the type, and they purchased them as a pair from the Fort Worth Zoo a few years ago. I thought I'd see if you guys had any idea :) .
I'm purchasing one of the offspring from this pairing at the show in NH on Oct. 22nd. I'm pretty excited since I won't be purchasing any animals all winter long so I plan on blowing a lot of money there  . I also hope to see a few of you there!

marina, if the owners of these GT's don't know their origin, then I think it would be kinda difficult to distinguish their locality just by looking at a pic. There are also quite a few crossxbred localities out there GTxIslandE etc... that it would be impossible to know for sure.

if your looking for an animal accurate to its origin then you should contact P. Vosjoli. I've purchased a few leachies from him, the prices are good, and I haven't been disappointed with the animals I've received.

Does Phillipe de Vosjoli ever release a list of available animals? I check his site regularly and it doesn't look as if it's been updated in a while. I'm quite sure they're both Grand Terre and suspect that they're both type A due to size but since I've never seen a blotched type A it makes it more difficult to guess :? .
How many Grand Terre do you have Sven? How many leachies do you have for that matter :D .

vosjoli does not update his website, if you contact him he will let you know what he currently has available. I have a pair of southern blotched GT's type B, and like I said earlier they've been making a lot of noise lately, very vocal. I have 1.2 Nuu Ana, 1.1 GT, and 0.0.1 Isle E (incubated for female from clark) hopefully clark will soon provide me with a baby Isle E incubated for male and then I'm calling it quits on leachies.

Very nice, I've always wanted to get some leachies, too expensive for me right now though.

marina, I'll try to have pics up soon. I need to borrow moms camera, and then I'll get some pics up of all my animals.
