That's a clean looking striper, nice.Does he get paler then that during the day?I have one that goes from white showing nearly no pattern to a dark black stripe at night,I think the more they're exposed to sunlight the lighter they get.BOBBY

Thanks all.
It doesn't get much paler than that but the day pictures were taken after some slight handling so "he" was starting to color up little perhaps.

Oh yeah, this little Gargoyle likes to vocalize whenever I pick it up. I don't know how many have heard them but it's kind of like a cross between a cricket and teeth grinding.
Does that sound at all like the noise the other Rhacs make?

My striped looked almost identical to yours. Light during the day and dark at night ... and all. Well not identical, the stripe has a different pattern and mines more a solid stripe.
But very beaut!!!!

I made the mistake of only buying only one gargoyle at the show in daytona this past august. So many cool color morphs for very reasonable prices, and I really regret not taking advantage while I was there.

But didn't you get lucky and score a male??

I sure did score a male, and that's why I should have taken advantage of more goyles.

Nah, that just means you should ship it to me next year for the breeding season!

donn, I actually had it for sale in daytona. It didn't sell, (I was only asking $175) so I went ahead and splurged a little on a beautiful orange blotch.
