If you're looking to add a bit of protein, try adding a small jar of chicken baby food to your fruit mixture. :D

Well the starch is far better than all the fatty oils that would be in the peanut butter. If you're really concerned about protein content you can get some whey protein powder at most health food stores. Another option would be to boil a chicken breast and puree it to a liquidy consistency and mix it into your fruit mixes.

 I have not had success with adding chix ,turkey babyfood to thier diet ,although I have heard of this. Mine are great hunters though, they get pretty much half insects 1/4 cgd 1/4 pureed fruits

Spirulina powder is a very complete source of protein and contains many other nutrients. It can be added to baby food or other fruit mixes and the geckos don't seem to mind it even in higher doses.

Peanut butter does taste awful good. To me. lol. Although I would def not reccomend feeding/mixing to the cresteds.
