Of course you can, or else there wouldn't be any. :P

It all depends. Crested genetics are still somewhat of a mystery. You can take two cresteds, breed them together and get something completely unexpected. It helps if you have a few generations worth of information on the geckos you are breeding to help predict what future offspring may look like. There is no definite combination of if you breed this type of gecko to that one... this will be the result. I know one person who has a red crested that threw a creamsicle baby. Turns out that one of the grandparents (great-grandparents to the baby, I think... if I remember correctly) was a creamsicle. It's all in the genes. (and sometimes dumb luck! )

your best bet is to save up the 500 or so and buy the hatchling and hope to heck itll keep its colors or itll turn out like a the creamsicle it is advertised as!

are you considering a creamsicle pair? Thats a heck of a first time breeding pair. Id say get something a bit lower end of the high end class like reds or nice yellows or harleys, but if you do get 1.1 creamsicles thatd be an amazing first pair! I got a nice orange red pair for mine and they have done so well for me. Good luck

I would say the best way to breed creamsicles would to breed two together lol. Also.....you could buy ones that are not necesarily creamsicles, but close........lfor example.....buy a male harley that sorta has the creamsicle look, then a female that would have the perfect creme color without the harley pattern, and then another orange female. Then just wait and see what happens. That is basically how people start their own crested morph projects, unless they just buy the morph that has already been developed for generations.

If you get a creamsicle and breed it to a crested with a high crem coloration on its back with yellowish sides then sooner or later you will get one. I wouldn't suggest getting a creamsicle pair as you first cresteds (thats a lot of money ) for something you don't have much real expirence with.

Here is a cold hard truth, even if you had the money to buy a pair of creamsicles (orange & cream flame) you're going to have a HELL of a time finding ANYONE who would sell them to you (not you personally, anyone really)! Very few creamsicles ever go up for sale, even less that are sexable and as far as an adult pair, phhhppppp............good luck.
I'm not trying to rain on your parade (you might already know someone to get one off of) but the truth is most breeders got theres from making them thereselves or being in the right place at the right time, which isn't easy to do at least on purpose.
If you do end up with some let us know and post some pics.

It's hard to determine what a creamsicle crested gecko is. Matts Creamsicle is amazing but it looks like it's more red than orange. Same with the one in the rhac book. AC's female Creamsicle also doesn't look Orange but the juvie he hasdup for sale did. Who determined the first Creamsicle Crested Gecko anyways? I like Red harlequins -better yet a strawberry creamsicle, lol.

BadAss, you have some creamsicle like geckos don't you?

do you have any badass?

BadAssHerps

Yes to some, no to others. As afr as morphs go I have really started concentrating on orange, red & yellow flames. A creamsicle by the simplest definition is a orange flame with a creamy dorsal area. It is just the name to a specific kind of orange flame. example:

flame-->orange flame-->Creamsicle-->??????

And I'm sure eventually there will be differnt kinds of creamsicles as breeding continues. Anyway I do consider a few of my orange flames to be creamsicles or borderline at very least. But I also have a few

"citrus" flames (orange flame with a yellow dorsal area)

"doublle dipped" orange flames (orange flame with and even brighter orange on the dorsal area)

"tigersicle" (orange tiger with cream dorsal area)

"Lemon meringue" (yellow flame with cream colored dorsal area)

"Reverse citrus" ( Yellow flame with orange dorsal area)

etc. etc. etc.

I really like the creamsicles but I think that there are a lot of unappriciated orange flames. Some that are here now and some that I will have soon. mU ha ha ha ha ha
But to clearlly answer your question without a whole bunch of extra crap, yes I have a few.
ps: see how fun names can be, that's all a creamsicle is anyway.

Badass, how much did your creamsicles :D cost? Also, where did you get them from?

BadAssHerps

They were all breed right here at BadAssHerps, The parents were mostlly bought at through various breeders (aka-friends) and random people. But all of the best looking ones are hatched here. I did pay good money for some of my orange flames (and why not?) but I think there totally worth it.

lol, $500 for a crestie... Thats a lot for a crestie but think abou the poor poeple out there, (like me) that are into ball python morphs, try $8000 for a female spider http://www.newenglandreptile.com/ball_spider.html OR $200,000 for a black eyed lucy http://www.constrictors.com/Collection/BallPythons/BlackEyedLeucisticBallPython.html But i agree, $500 is a lot for a crestie... but creamsicles are just so damn coooool!!! Wait till true moonglows comeout... $$$$ im guessing it'll hit 4 figures
