crested gecko and hair

so....how many of you girls...and guys....with long hair have a crested (or a gargoyle) that thinks your hair is a vine?

lol...every time i take them out, they want to climb my hair...and they cant...they slide off into my lap. so then they go "hmm....i kno!" *goes splat onto my face* "HA! i can stick here!"

I just don't let them go there. Mine seem to love crawling in it and getting tangled! and glasses! what is it with glasses! they seem to be the preferred landing spot when I let somebody hold one of my geckos.

I've stopped letting mine get into my hair because of the hair spray and styling spray. It can't be good for them. Fabio thinks my hair is just something to be climbed to get to the top of my head. Apparently he thinks this is a good gecko riding spot, or he did, before I started keeping them away from the hair sprays.

ah, i dont use hair spray or gel...just shampoo and conditioner (yeah, i'm SO girly, let me tell ya) so my hair is fair game to them lol

Hah, mine seems to think hair looks like a delicious worm. He's launched himself at strands of it several times thinking it looks tasty. He even bit me on the eyelid once, going for eyelashes!

Crazy little booger. Haha.

Mine try & try, but just slide off. They like the height at the top of my head. :)

my crested somehow got a strand of my hair once and tried to eat it....he kept licking his mouth like he was eating...but i was like, nothings there...and then i saw it...a piece of my hair sticking out of his mouth....luckily he just started dining on it and i pulled it out.

now...you should have seen the poop i found after my crested got loose (but i found him...sticking his head out from under my dresser saying "OMG PLEASE FIND ME!") the poop was filled with dog hair and dust balls...and even a lady bug shell!!!

OMG SO TRUE! My little baby always goes for either the hair (which hangs lower so easier to reach) or my glasses. He likes hair more though and if i don't let him jump into it he will scramble up my arm to my shoulder and then try to sneak around onto my upper back (where i can't reach) and jump off into the great beyond.

Mine like to climb under my hair and perch there at the back of my neck. Sometimes they try to climb but they can't hold on and they get all frantic. I have super straight hair and don't use any product so I don't mind if they want to play on my head since they are beyond pooping on me now!

I do not let mine near my hair. Too scary. They try but I always pull the off before they can.

Yup, cresties seem to love hair... My youngest is especially fond of it. He will climb through it to the top of my hair and sit there. He also loves faces though... He has even jumped in my mouth before :-? They are just incredibly exploratory little creatures.....
