One of my females layed 4 eggs last night ,She skipped a month and then last night I saw her in the nest box when I went to bed. This morning there were 4 eggs in the same spot and she is 10 grams lighter, I was just wondering if this has happened with any of yours , anyone? She seems o.k. just from 39 to 29 grams, wow, poor little thing!

Sounds like she might have been egg bound. I have never had a female become egg bound but might be a good idea to put her up for the season. Cool her off and feed her well and maybe breed her next season.
A vet check up can not hurt at all. Was one set of eggs bigger then the other?
Crested Lady made mention of one of hers binding a season or two ago and now she is a prolific breeder. Ask her for some advice.

No both sets were normal sized healthy looking eggs. She has laid 6 clutches all together and is the only one with a 100% hatch rate her first season. I thought she was done after the first 4 sets because there was only one mating and she was seperated due to this being her first season. There is a chance another female laid eggs right beside hers , but I weighed them just a few days ago and she is literally 10 grams lighter!!! If I put her in her own room what temps will stop her from laying??
