This is a little female I picked up recently to add some new blood to my breeding stock. Being a typical woma with a healthy appettite, she'll be ready to breed in no time.

Just remember thet cn be a little pricey for a first snake, and the get to a pretty tmpressive size. My female breeder is almost 6.5' and the male is just a little bit smaller. Good calm temoerment although like most snakes can be a little nippy when young.

blackheads are real docile, but very active and have a strong feeding response. they'll hiss and head butt, before biting. but yes they do still bite especially around feeding time.

i have a 6 ft long male, and he's really impressive. they also cost a lot. can go from $1500, to $5000.

Woma's are a little less expensive. Hatchling males will run you about $400 - $600 and females $600 - $800. Be wary of how and with who you spend your hard earned money. Ask to see not only pics of the snake you are interested in, but the parents as well if possible. Some Woma's have a tendency to "wash out" as the get older. That is lose some of the vibrance in the coloration. This advice is a good thing to remember when buying any snake or lizard.

Rey,
I've heard that Blackheads can be cannabilistic, is that true?

Womas are great snakes and you will love them if you get one. You can find males now around $250 or less if you look around, I paid $200 for a 3ft male last year.

No doubt! I have 1.4 and i definitely paid at least twice as much for each of mine! Although, I am hesitant to get stock on-line as I like to see what I am buying in person; maybe I am old-fashioned in that manner. I'll have to get pics up soon.

Mine was actually picked up at our show but there are occasionally males on kingsnake for around $300 shipped. Males have gone down considerably, it's the females that are still higher in price.

Make sure you get pics of the parents. Alot of Woma bloodlines tend to "wash out" as they get older and lose there bright patterns. Took me a long time to find my original pair and even longer to find my second female.
