Rey,
Yeah weird! But I candled them & they are fertile. So maybe i'll get some babies?

Olivia,
Lol Thats what I thought when I found them, I looked at the snake & thought to myself? "WOW", How did you get those out?

Maybe it took her a while to get them out because they're so big.. the part that already was out could have hardened from exposure air, then the other half came out at a different angle because she was in a different position..? I have no idea, I don't know anything about snake eggs I'm just making stuff up  lol.

plecoperson,
Thank you! So far the eggs are looking good. Hopefully I'll get some babies! :)

Nate,
Thank you! The eggs are very fertile, & are doing great so far. I've heard that it takes 2 months for the eggs to hatch, So fingers crossed.

What a beautiful little Ringneck! :D Good luck with the eggos!!

..btw, I know reptiles and humans are on different ends of the "spectrum", but we do come out a little WONKY looking, y'know :p I like livialeigh's analogy =D>

Wow, you are lucky, not many people are able to breed them

not many people want to breed them.

I love ringnecks, but they are so dang underapreciated.

Also, those are funky lookin' eggs, those are the most slug like fertile eggs ive ever seen!

AneesasMuse,
Thank you!
I've never thought of it like that.:)

jackxc925,
Thank you! Yes, Not many people do. So hopefully the eggs hatch. :)

Peter_Alexander,
That might be so, But why would they be under-appreciated?

Check this link out.... http://animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu/site/accounts/information/Diadophis_punctatus.html They mention that a single egg is white with yellow ends & is elongated, approximating 1 inch in length.
Then I found this link. I've found more websites showing the eggs looking like this than not, My guess is that the snakes produce eggs looking like this.http://landscape.acadiau.ca/herpatlas/Larvae%20&%20eggs/eggs.htm

Mike,
Thank you! lol, they do look like vegetables! I candled them again, & they are still glowing pink. :)

No one gives them the time and appreciation they deserve. They are one of my favorite snakes, and yet very few people are breeding them. They should be getting more recognition for their beautiful coloration and gentle temperment. They are really only known for being tough feeders.

I love ring necks! I'll def. be getting into them once I'm out of my house. Such beautiful snakes, and as you said...very unappreciated.
