Im looking to keep my 1.2 breeders in a chameloens style cage. I was thinking the size 16X16X29 for 1.2? is that too small? Should I go bigger?
I have no idea what size would be good for them.

Thanks

I think that should be large enough but you may want some more floor space, and you may have trouble keeping the humidity up since it is a screen enclosure.

I mist them 2x a day in a rubbermiad. I try to design my cages so its based on the arboearl aspect of rhacodactylus. I only have the base of a few climinb logs and a water bowl and laying box on the cage floor. anyone else use screen cages?

i was thinking of using screend caes soley on the fact that they always jump into the glass walls unless you covered at least 3 sides with some type of background. must be painful for them

I have a 65 gallon screen cage. Origanally set up for chameleon but i changed my mind. I'm planing on putting 3-4 cresties in it but i have to change a few things around first. I'm going to put a humidifier on a timer under it so the mist will come thru the bottom that should keerp the humidity up better than misting. But right now i have my crestie in a critter keeper because it's to small. some input on some changes would be great. Here's a pic of cage with screen off and my crestie (COOKIE)http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a230/BRB77/DSCF0644.jpg

If you are worried about humidity.. I've heard of people having great success with screen cages and wax paper attached on two or three of the sides to keep the moisture more enclosed.. just an idea
