Do you find that these guys are generally pretty good eaters or notoriously picky? Do yours eat F/T?

Thanks for the comments, guys:) Indy, I have about 30 in the collection right now. They are all on F/T. Most are voracious eaters without problems. The exception is the seasonal fasting that males endure after about 18 months of age. They can be buggers. But, I have found that if you wait them out, they will eat when their breeding instinct diminishes.

wow - 30! Do you breed them or are they just pets?

They fascinate me because they seem to always be out and about (currect me if I'm wrong - this just based on pictures of them!) as opposed to many snakes which burrow under the bedding and aren't seen that often during the day.

Yeah...it's a bunch..LOL
I do breed them.....or plan to. I have had bad luck with incubation methods and lost eggs, so I have yet to produce any babies...give me time..LOL
Being arboreal, they are (almost) always perched--but during the day, they are resting. You really haven't seen a GTP until you turn out the lights!!!
But you're right...they are not ones to burrow or go into hide boxes.

Beautiful!! We love ours as well. They are great eaters, but tend to be a little pissy when handled. I can't wait to get more, but I don't think I'll ever reach 30, lol that's amazing. Good luck with your breeding!

I have found that arboreal boas/pythons are aggresive and should not be bought to "hold" but some will let you without eating your face

But they are amazing to watch at night, they cruise around and whatnot

Beautiful animals! Thanks for sharing some pics!

I have about 30 in the collection right now.

Do you know the locale on most of your GTPs? I would love to see some pics of your caging if you have the time too.

Most of my animals are 'designer' and outcross animals, so without specific locale. I do have a few Meraukes (1.2), an Aru (0.1), and a Biak (1.0).....The rest are a bunch of 'designer mutts'.
My caging was purchased fromPVC Cages.com (www.pvccages.com). I do have a juvie rack and 6 adult cages that were built by Greg Maxwell, and 2 juvie racks from Nature's Spirit Reptiles (www.NSreptiles.com).
I'll take some pics..
